Sea buckthorn and bilberries may improve metabolic and heart health for women: RCT data

"Daily consumption of sea buckthorn berries, its extracts, or bilberries may boost the overall
metabolic profiles of overweight women, says a new study from Finland."

I have read the study article and this is promising.  It refers, generally speaking, about cholesterol levels and the types of cholesterol found in the subject's blood.  The berries had a beneficial effect on the "profile".  The study was conducted with 80 overweight women.  A small study to be sure; too small to be of any real significance other than to point these or other researchers to conduct more refined inquiries on larger populations.
